Halalist Membership Rewards Scheme - Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 The Halalist Membership Rewards Scheme ("Rewards Scheme") is owned and operated by the owner of the Halalist website ("We," "Us," "Our"). By participating in the Rewards Scheme, members ("You," "Your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participation in the Rewards Scheme is open to individuals who have registered for a Halalist account.

2.2 We reserve the right to refuse or terminate membership of the Rewards Scheme at Our sole discretion, without notice or reason.

3. Earning Points

3.1 Points may be earned through various actions including, but not limited to, completing tasks, participating in affiliate programs, engaging in ad hoc promotions, spending with partner merchants, and other methods introduced by Us from time to time.

3.2 The methods for earning points, the number of points awarded, and the eligibility criteria for earning points may be modified, added, or removed at any time without prior notice.

3.3 Points are personal to Your account and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or sold.

3.4 Accrued points are the total number of points you have accrued for the purpose of record keeping. Available points are points you have accrued and not yet redeemed. This is separate to the context of tiers, which are determined by the total points accrued in the previous 12 months.

4. Redemption of Points

4.1 Points accumulated under the Rewards Scheme have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4.2 Points may be redeemed for money-off vouchers, discounts, or other benefits ("Rewards") as offered by Us or Our partners. The conversion rate of points to Rewards is not fixed and may vary between different merchants and offers. For example, one merchant may offer £5 off for 1,000 points, whereas another may offer £10 off for the same number of points.

4.3 There is no guarantee that points can be redeemed at any given time. There may be periods where no Rewards are available.

4.4 Some offers may be on a first-come, first-served basis, and all offers are subject to availability. We do not guarantee the availability of any particular Reward.

4.5 Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no points, offers, or vouchers can be redeemed in conjunction with other offers.

5. Expiry and Forfeiture of Points

5.1 Points may have an expiry date, and any points not used before this date may be forfeited. It is Your responsibility to monitor the expiry dates of Your points.

5.2 We reserve the right to deduct points from Your account if We believe they were earned fraudulently, in error, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

6. Tiers and Tier Expiry

6.1 Tiers are determined based on the total points accrued in the previous 12 months. On January 1st of each year, all members tiers will be reset to the level corresponding to the points accrued during the previous 12 months.

6.2 The resetting of tiers on January 1st does not affect the points accrued. Points will continue to accumulate and remain valid as described in Clause 5.1.

7. Amendments to the Rewards Scheme

7.1 We reserve the right to add, remove, or change any aspect of the Rewards Scheme, including but not limited to these Terms and Conditions, the methods of earning points, the availability of Rewards, and the conversion rates of points to Rewards, at any time without prior notice.

7.2 Any changes to the Rewards Scheme will be effective immediately upon posting on the Halalist website unless otherwise stated. Your continued participation in the Rewards Scheme after any changes constitutes Your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

8. Termination of the Rewards Scheme

8.1 We reserve the right to terminate the Rewards Scheme at any time and for any reason. In the event of termination, all points in Your account will be forfeited, and no compensation will be provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with Your participation in the Rewards Scheme, including but not limited to the loss of points or Rewards, or the availability, quality, or suitability of any Rewards.

9.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Rewards Scheme, even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9.3 We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the Rewards Scheme or any Rewards provided through it, including but not limited to the quality, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any Rewards.

10. General Provisions

10.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between You and Us regarding Your participation in the Rewards Scheme and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

10.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

10.3 Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

10.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom in relation to any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Rewards Scheme.

10.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect Your statutory rights.
